Gilson’s Inc. has been creating elegant gifts of distinction since 1974 when our founder, Tony Gilson, opened his first store in Downtown Cincinnati. A master hand engraver trained in Birmingham, England, Tony chose pewter as the company’s primary product line and christened his store The Pewter Place Engravery. Tony also added machine engraving, and soon expanded his vision of delivering gifts and awards that include high quality sterling silver as well as corporate gifts and plaques of hand finished walnut and brass.

With consumer requests for crystal, timepieces, and custom recognition pieces of all varieties, the company realized it had outgrown its original name. To reinforce his commitment to the highest quality gifts and exceptional customer service, Tony chose to put his name on the store, bringing Gilson’s Inc. to light. Today Gilson’s Inc. delivers on its promise and features a broad selection of manufacturers, including Waterford, Seiko, Bulova, Reed & Barton, A.T. Cross, Salisbury, Woodbury, Kate Spade, Beatrice Ball, Wendel August, Corinthian Chimes, Seagull, Empire Silversmiths, as well as other manufacturers specializing in custom recognition pieces.

Gilson’s Inc. joined ASI in 2003, bringing to its resources all the advertising specialty products in the market. Whether it is one pewter tankard or five thousand ceramic coffee cups, Gilson’s continues to stand by its promise of satisfying your need for high quality gifts of distinction for any occasion.
